Job Description

Consulting for the Leadership Board

  • Provide consultation to the Project Management Director/Deputy Director regarding construction method selection and corresponding project costs.

  • Propose the application of new technologies that enhance project efficiency.

Project Quantity Management and Supervision

  • Receive all project-related information transferred by the Leadership Board.

  • Verify the compliance of the design documents, construction drawings, structural shop drawings, finishing, technical infrastructure, and bill of quantities as per the contract.

  • Directly or through Supervision Consultants, manage and oversee the entire process of quantity estimation for payments related to construction works, equipment installation, structures, finishing, technical infrastructure, and MEPF by contractors, ensuring: progress, accuracy, and rationality.

  • Review the compliance of construction methods, acceptance, and handling of arising on-site issues.

  • Validate quantities for payment and final settlement for construction works related to architecture, structures, finishing, technical infrastructure, and MEPF.

  • Coordinate closely with related departments of the Project Management Board to implement the project most effectively, on schedule, and in line with cash flow.

  • Manage project risks.

  • Participate in bid evaluation from a technical standpoint as requested.

  • Manage quantity records and submit payment and settlement documents for the project.

Working with Contractors

  • Manage contractors regarding quantities and payment progress as per the contract.

  • Work with Supervision Consultants and contractors to ensure project payments are made according to the approved plan.

Other Tasks

  1. Develop and implement personal work plans; report performance results to the management.

  2. Guide and support new employees.

  3. Maintain confidentiality of the Group’s information and documents.

  4. Archive relevant records and documents.

  5. Comply with and provide feedback to improve internal rules, regulations, and policies of the Group.

  6. Participate in building and promoting the Group’s image and brand.

  7. Perform other tasks assigned by management.

  8. Execute additional duties assigned by higher-level managers/the Group’s leadership.

Job Requirements

  1. Age: 25 - 50 years old.

  2. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.

  3. Major: Construction Economics or other relevant fields.

  4. Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and quantity supervision for civil engineering projects (for Quantity Supervisor - Civil position).
    • Minimum of 5 years for infrastructure works (for Quantity Supervisor - Infrastructure position).
  5. Foreign Language: Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

  6. Computer Skills:

    • Proficient in using computers.
    • Competent in office and specialized software.
  7. Skills:

    • Planning and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and creatively; problem solving and decision making.
    • Communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
    • Good physical health.
  8. Relevant Certifications: Possess a professional certificate in construction cost estimation.

  9. Related Knowledge:

    • Deep understanding of contract management, cost and quantity control.
    • Proficient in construction and installation technical management procedures, quality control processes, and regulations on occupational safety, environmental hygiene, and fire prevention.
  10. Other Required Qualities:

  • Decisive and sharp working style.
  • Able to handle high pressure.
  • Agile, honest, resourceful.
